The United Nations Nippon Foundation (UNNF) Strategic Needs Fellowship 2026 provides in-depth training on ocean affairs and the law of the sea for government officials from developing States. The program aims to help fellows address strategically important, time-sensitive issues in ocean governance and UNCLOS implementation, with outcomes focusing on applying international legal frameworks and SDG-related work in their home countries.

Teilnahmevoraussetzungen

Be a government official from a developing State and have a background related to ocean affairs and the law of the sea; be 25-45 years old; have completed a first-level university degree; strong command of English.
