Eddie Méndez Scholar Award 2026

Applications are open for the Eddie Méndez Scholar Award 2026. The Fred Hutch Cancer Center seeks postdoctoral fellows from any discipline conducting research on cancer, infectious diseases, or basic science. The award aims to recognize outstanding early-career scientists and supports a community of postdoctoral scholars pursuing academic faculty careers at Fred Hutch.

Honorarium; travel and accommodation expenses covered; participation in a cohort with network opportunities and access to Fred Hutch staff and faculty.

Be a postdoctoral researcher seeking an academic faculty position; be completing a postdoc in the United States; conduct research aligned with Fred Hutch; plan to enter the academic job market in fall 2026 or beyond; have not yet entered the academic job market nor accepted a faculty position.
