Powering Economic Opportunity Fund 2026

The GitLab Foundation launched the Powering Economic Opportunity Fund (PEOF) 2026 to support U.S.-based organizations that partner with employers, unions, and industry leaders to improve job quality, expand work-based learning, and create sustainable career pathways for workers. Grants may be up to $500,000 and support initiatives over one to two years, focusing on employer practices and durable impact beyond grant funding.

Eligible applicants are U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, organizations operating under a fiscal sponsor, and nonprofit partnerships involving eligible 501(c)(3) organizations.

Submit a concept note; invitations to a full application; rolling concept-note reviews with a multi-stage process and final awards announced in December 2026.
