Consultant – Religious and Traditional Leaders Engagement

Applications are open for a consultancy position with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Lagos, Nigeria. The role focuses on engaging religious and traditional leaders to strengthen migration governance, protection systems, and community engagement across multiple Nigerian states. The consultant will develop tools, facilitate dialogues, and contribute to behavior-change and referral systems within IOM’s Migration Management initiatives.

High-level international exposure; collaboration with UN systems and global partners; opportunity to influence migration policy and community outcomes; coverage under IOM’s occupational Compensation Plan.

Advanced degree in Migration management, Communication studies, Behavioral science or Social sciences; minimum 6 years in migration governance, protection, or SBC/C4D; at least 4 years in strategic communication and advocacy; experience working with religious/traditional institutions; fluency in English.
