The United Nations OHCHR Minorities Fellowship Program 2026 is a training programme for human rights defenders from national, ethnic, religious, and linguistic minority groups. It provides an understanding of the United Nations system, international human rights instruments, and mechanisms, with a focus on minority rights, and offers networking opportunities with activists, the United Nations, and NGOs in Geneva. Fellows receive a return economy class ticket, basic health insurance, and a stipend to cover modest accommodation and living expenses for the duration of the programme.

Teilnahmevoraussetzungen
Applicants must belong to a national, ethnic, linguistic, or religious minority group. Formal education is not a prerequisite, provided relevant experience is demonstrated.
