DW Akademie Dialogue Fund: Innovation and Integrity 2025

The DW Akademie Dialogue Fund: Innovation and Integrity 2025 funds a fellowship for individuals in journalism in Southern Africa to develop or implement an AI use case for journalism. The programme provides coaching, specialised training, and a stipend, with travel expenses covered, to support hands-on, innovative solutions for reliable and balanced journalism in the public interest.

Stipend, coaching, specialised training, check-ins with fellow media innovators, seed funding, and ongoing support to develop and implement the idea.

Applicants must have their idea and participation endorsed by their organisation; be at least 21 years old (or older); have a passport if from outside Namibia; be able to travel to Windhoek, Namibia; be based in Namibia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Eswatini, or Lesotho; commit to ethical journalism.
