Education Pathways Scholarship (EPS) 2024: A Gateway to Higher Education for Refugee Students in Japan

The Education Pathways Scholarship (EPS) is a new initiative for 2024 offering full undergraduate scholarships to refugee students at International Christian University (ICU) in Tokyo. Two students are selected each year to receive a comprehensive package including tuition, fees, on-campus accommodation, and a monthly stipend. The program supports eligible refugees to pursue higher education in Japan with language and admission requirements specified by Pathways Japan and ICU.

Full undergraduate scholarship including tuition, fees, on-campus accommodation, and a monthly stipend; application fee waived.

Applicants must have relocated to Japan through a Pathways Japan education pathways program and meet age, marital status, language, and nationality criteria as described by the program.

Applications are submitted online during the open period via the provided form; follow-up screening and interviews occur between September and December 2024.
