The Hermann Niermann Foundation/Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg Study Exchange German Language and Literature Studies is a grant programme enabling particularly gifted Master’s students, doctoral candidates and junior researchers in German language and literature studies to come to the Institute of German Philology at Würzburg University for the purpose of study or research.

Open to applicants from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania, Croatia, Bulgaria.
