Technologies d’Avenir Mobility Scholarships 2026 for Researchers Open

The Technologies d’Avenir mobility grants provide a funded opportunity for researchers based in Germany to spend one to three months in a French laboratory. The programme supports mobility in seven priority fields, including ecological and energy transitions, digital transition, geopolitics, ethics in new technologies, health, and cultural industries, with specific topics such as AI and neuroscience also included. The grants are intended to strengthen Franco-German research cooperation and require evidence of affiliation with a German university or research institution.

Monthly stipend plus coverage of transport and living costs; potential additional transport allowance

Eligible applicants must be affiliated with a German university or research institution and may be research-oriented master’s students, doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, or early-career researchers who defended their thesis no more than five years ago; French citizens are not eligible.
