The Industrial Development Corporation Bursaries 2026 provide financial support for students pursuing bachelor's and master's degrees in fields including Law, Commerce, Science and Engineering. The bursary covers tuition, accommodation allowances and a laptop, with specific funding available for postgraduate studies in Finance, Accounting and Law. The programme is targeted at South African citizens from disadvantaged backgrounds and low household incomes.

Full tuition fees; full on-campus accommodation and meals (institution rates); capped amount for off-campus university-accredited accommodation; capped self-catering meal allowance; capped transport allowance; laptop.

Open to South African citizens pursuing their first qualification (undergraduate); postgraduate funding available only for Finance, Accounting and Law. Applicants must be no older than 26 years, with preference for students from Quintile 1-3 schools and previously disadvantaged communities, and for households with combined parental income up to R600,000 p/a.
