TİHV Dil Eğitim Desteği Burs Programı

The TİHV Language Education Support Scholarship Programme provides funding for human rights defenders to participate in language education programs. It supports language courses in Kurdish, English, Arabic or Persian for up to one year, with a distribution of up to 1,000 EUR in Turkish Lira per beneficiary, and aims to support at least 10 human rights defenders. The program is financed by the European Union and implemented by Türkiye İnsan Hakları Vakfı (TİHV).

Applicants must be based in Turkey, and must be part of human rights defending activities; the requested training must be provided by an entity within Turkey; applicant must be over 18; the funding should clearly relate to their human rights advocacy work.
