Ford Global Fellowship

The Ford Global Fellowship is a cohort-based fellowship supporting emerging social justice leaders from Africa with resources, network access and tailored support. The initiative provides financial assistance to cover study-related costs and connects fellows to a global network and additional resources. The programme targets students and emerging leaders who have demonstrated meaningful impact but lack global connections and resources.

Open to students and emerging leaders from the following African countries: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo (Brazzaville), Congo (DRC), Cote d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
