Forum Mondial de la Démocratie 2025 – initiatives innovantes

The Forum Mondial de la Démocratie is an annual event organized by the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. It seeks innovative citizen initiatives that strengthen participatory governance and democratic culture, with the 2025 edition focusing on reviving democracy amid contemporary challenges. Selected initiatives are presented at the Forum and may receive support for visibility and networking with international actors.

Selected initiatives will be presented at the Forum in Strasbourg before an international audience; participants gain international visibility and networking opportunities with institutions, funders and project leaders from around the world; opportunities to participate in thematic workshops and plenary debates.

The call is open to public or private organisations, NGOs, foundations, universities, mission-driven companies, citizen startups, think tanks or local institutions working for democracy-related goals.
