West Africa Solutions Journalism Fellowship 2025

The West Africa Solutions Journalism Fellowship 2025 is a four-month programme for health journalists across West Africa. It provides mentorship, training, editorial support, and opportunities to publish in-depth, solutions-focused health stories. Fellows receive a grant to cover their logistics and time to work on their stories and will engage in capacity-building workshops and peer learning.

Open to journalists residing in West African countries who are English speakers, with robust storytelling and research skills and at least three years of journalism experience (exceptional early-career applicants may be considered).

Submit a completed application form and a letter of commitment from an affiliated media house; freelancers need a letter of support from a reputable platform willing to publish/broadcast their stories.
