The Brooklyn Caribbean Literary Festival Short Fiction Story Contest 2025 is an annual writing competition aimed at unearthing and encouraging Caribbean-descended writers and expanding Caribbean literature. The contest offers multiple prizes, including a cash prize and opportunities for publication and exposure through festival channels.

Leistungen

US$1,750 cash prize; BCLF Trophy; books from Akashic Books; feature on BCLF Cocoapod; author interview and profile; BCLF merchandise; potential publication in PREE Literary Magazine and Carib News.

Teilnahmevoraussetzungen

Entrants must be of Caribbean heritage for the diaspora prize, with additional Caribbean eligibility for the prize targeting writers in the Caribbean; eligibility includes unpublished and published writers for certain categories.
