MRC-AMS policy internship scheme

The MRC-AMS policy internship scheme provides a short-term policy placement for PhD students funded by the Medical Research Council, offering experience in the medical science policy environment and opportunities to connect with policy stakeholders. Participants undertake projects within policy teams, attend events, and gain exposure to the interaction between academia, government, industry, and charities. The scheme is designed to develop research impact skills and an understanding of how scientific findings inform health policy.

The internship is available to MRC-funded PhD students who are/are about to be in their PhD training.
