BBA Biotech & Pharma Summer School

The BBA Biotech & Pharma Summer School is an intensive 4-day course that provides an overview of the drug development process in biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry, from idea to market. The programme combines lectures and workshops led by experts from medicine, industry, biotech companies, contract research and consulting organizations. It is limited to a maximum of 16 participants and includes comprehensive paper documentation and electronic course materials. Participation is certified by the German Life Science Association VBIO and the Berlin BioScience Academy (BBA).

Comprehensive paper and electronic documentation, course binders, catering (as per program), certification by VBIO and BBA, small-group workshops, contacts to industry experts.

Directed to natural scientists, PhD students and postdocs of natural scientific and medical degree programs who work in fundamental research, biotechnology or in research pharma companies with little or no experience in drug development.
