ANS Conference Travel Grant

The ANS Conference Travel Grant provides travel reimbursement support to current ANS student members to attend ANS conferences. Awards reimburse authorized travel expenses up to a stated maximum and require recipients to submit expense and grant reports after attendance. The programme encourages applications from students who have faced economic, geographic, or social barriers and from underrepresented backgrounds in nuclear science and technology.

Reimbursement of authorized travel expenses up to $1,000; encouraged complimentary registration via the ANS Student Program to maximize the travel grant.

Applicants must be current ANS student members. The programme encourages applications from first-generation college attendees, first-time ANS conference attendees, international students, students from rural or low-income backgrounds, racial and ethnic minority backgrounds, students with disabilities, veterans, and other underrepresented backgrounds.

Apply via the ANS application portal. Recipients must submit expense receipts and a grant report within two weeks after attending the conference to scholarships@ans.org.
