The ECLAC-UNAM Summer Course on Development Studies for Mexico and Central America is an in-person, cohort-based course offering interdisciplinary training on development issues with a specific focus on Mexico and Central America. The 2026 edition runs from 2026-06-08 to 2026-06-26 and is structured into six modules covering integral, human, social, economic, political and sustainable development. Courses are delivered by UNAM faculty, ECLAC staff and guest specialists, and the programme includes discussion forums on productive development policies and anticipatory governance. The course aims to train professionals and foster exchange across disciplines on regional development challenges.

Teilnahmevoraussetzungen
Applicants were drawn from Mexico and Central America; selected participants are students and young professionals from those countries with backgrounds in fields such as economics, political science, international relations, sociology, engineering, environmental sciences, business, law, psychology, journalism, anthropology, social work, philosophy and geography.
