The Summer Science Program is a residential, cohort-based research programme for high-school students to conduct collaborative, real-world scientific research under the guidance of scientists and faculty. The programme emphasizes intensive, fast-paced material, close faculty attention, cooperation (no grades or tests), and development of research skills and community. Admissions are competitive and cohort-limited; programmes typically begin in mid–late June. Financial aid and stipends are available for eligible participants.
Leistungen
Residential research experience with faculty mentorship, close personal attention, community and college-preparation outcomes; need-based fee waivers or discounts; select stipends of $3,000 and free admission for eligible participants.
Teilnahmevoraussetzungen
High-school students (those who will graduate high school in the target graduating year) may apply. Applicants are classified as international if they attend school outside the U.S. or are not U.S. citizens/permanent residents; domestic applicants are U.S. citizens/permanent residents who attend school in the U.S.

Submit an online application via the SSP applicant portal; applications are read holistically by an admissions committee of staff, volunteer alumni, and former faculty. The application is free.
