IEEE ComSoc Travel Grants (IEEE SECON 2027)

The IEEE ComSoc Travel Grants for IEEE SECON 2027 provide competitive travel reimbursement awards to support attendance at the IEEE SECON 2027 conference. Multiple grant streams are described, including the ComSoc Student Travel Grant (STG), ComSoc Conference Travel Grant (CTG), and Young Professionals Travel Grant (YPTG). Awards are intended for students, early-career professionals, and conference participants who are financially limited and meet specific eligibility and presentation requirements.

Reimbursement of travel-related expenses (airfare, hotel, and conference-related travel costs); exact amounts and eligible items vary by grant and are subject to submission of expense reports and receipts.

Eligibility varies by grant stream. Student grants require IEEE ComSoc student membership, co-authorship of an accepted SECON 2027 paper and in-person presentation, and full-time enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD program in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Young Professionals grants require IEEE ComSoc membership and graduation within the past 15 years and authorship/presentation of an accepted paper. CTG applicants must be ComSoc members, conference participants, and demonstrate insufficient funding from other sources.

Applicants must submit an online application (link forthcoming) with IEEE ComSoc member number, CV, advisor supporting letter (for students), a student statement letter, conference registration confirmation, and an estimate of travel costs. CTG applicants provide a reason for support, detailed travel cost estimate, and demonstrate financial need.
