Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) Scholarship

The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) Scholarship is a fully funded year-long program for U.S. high school students to study and experience cultural immersion in Germany. Recipients live with a German host family, attend a local high school, and participate in educational and cultural events during the academic year. The program aims to strengthen U.S.-Germany relations through citizen diplomacy and cultural understanding.

Living with a German host family, attending a local high school, and participating in educational, cultural, and political events; recognized as a youth ambassador for the United States.

Open to U.S. high school students selected for the CBYX program; participants are chosen based on academic qualifications, cultural openness, and motivation.

Applicants are selected through a competitive process for CBYX.
