IUPAC-Solvay International Award for Young Chemists

The IUPAC-Solvay International Award for Young Chemists is a prize awarded to outstanding early-career researchers in the chemical sciences. Each year up to five prizes are given, consisting of a cash award and funds towards travel to attend the next IUPAC Congress, with the winner invited to present their research and potentially publish a review article. The call targets young researchers who completed their PhD within the previous year and whose PhD is from a member country of IUPAC.

PhD completed in 2023; PhD from an institution based in an IUPAC member country/territory; field of chemical sciences.

Entries are submitted online via the nomination form; supporting letters are required from the thesis advisor or thesis committee chair
