The Georg-Kerschensteiner-Preis is an annual prize awarded for outstanding achievements in physics education, physics didactics, or the public communication (outreach) of physics. The award recognises work in higher education and continuing education, research into teaching and learning processes in physics education, and the development and study of new teaching concepts and media. Recipients receive a certificate with a laudation and a monetary prize.

Teilnahmevoraussetzungen

Individuals who have produced outstanding work in physics didactics, the public communication of physics (outreach), research into physics teaching and learning, or development of new teaching concepts and media. Self-nominations are not permitted; nominations must be submitted by others to the DPG office and include a short justification, laudation, CV, publication list if applicable, and suggested reviewers.
