Knitting a Better Future for Girls in Uganda

The Pollination Project funding supports a knitting-focused program in Kampala, Uganda, aiming to teach girls skills that can provide an income and empowerment. The funded project will provide two-month classes in groups of 30, reaching up to 180 girls per year, and will cover materials such as sewing machines and supplies to enable the activity. The initiative seeks to promote handmade fashion and practical skills to improve futures for young women.

Funds will cover sewing machines and materials and enable 2-month classes for up to 180 girls over a year.
