The European Partnership for Brain Health joint calls fund transnational, multidisciplinary and translational research consortia addressing brain health across the lifespan, including neurological, mental, sensory and neurodegenerative disorders. Two simultaneous calls focus on (1) neurological, mental and sensory disorders and (2) neurodegenerative disorders. Funded projects are consortium-based (3–6 eligible research partners from at least three different participating countries) and support fundamental and/or clinical research with translational relevance for human disease.
Leistungen
Project funding for consortium partners (national/regional funding according to partner organisations); funding duration up to three years; access to multinational collaboration and European research infrastructures.
Teilnahmevoraussetzungen
Only transnational consortia with three to six eligible research partners from at least three different participating countries may apply; no more than two partners from the same country. Involvement of clinical research groups and promising early career researchers is encouraged. Individual partner eligibility is defined by the respective national/regional funding organisations.
Bewerbung
Two-stage procedure: submit a joint pre-proposal (one joint proposal document in English) by the consortium coordinator to the Joint Call Secretariat; selected pre-proposals invited to submit full proposals by coordinators via the Joint Call Secretariat/electronic systems of respective funding organisations.
