CivicHive Hack4Democracy Program 2025 for West Africa

Hack4Democracy is an annual hackathon bringing together CivicTech innovators, activists, and organizations to create digital solutions for democratic engagement in West Africa. The program focuses on democratic participation, human rights, and good governance reform, with prototypes that can be scaled across the West Africa sub-region. The event includes collaboration, development of civic tech solutions, and support to launch products.

Fully funded logistics and accommodation; take-off grants and technical support to develop and launch products.

Open to civictech organizations with proof of concept that have built and tested their civictech solution within West Africa; applicants must be residents or citizens of one of the West African countries listed.
