ERC Plus Grant

The ERC Plus Grant is a European Research Council funding scheme for individual projects that do not fit the traditional ERC categories, open to researchers at any career stage and of any nationality. In Portugal, the FCT provides a national pre-assessment service to support applicants submitting ERC Plus proposals, including a review panel and feedback reports. The national process includes Step 1 and Step 2 submissions, online meetings with the assessment panel, and deadlines for proposal submission and subsequent reporting to candidates.

Researchers at any career stage and of any nationality may be supported, with proposals submitted through a national host institution in Portugal.
