Defesa+Ciência: Concurso para Projetos Exploratórios 2025

The Défesa+Science: Concurso para Projetos Exploratórios 2025 is a national contest organized by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) in partnership with the Instituto da Defesa Nacional (IDN). It aims to support multidisciplinary projects that strengthen scientific, technological, and innovation capacities relevant to national defense.

Funding of up to 50,000 euros per project

Proposals must involve at least one non‑corporate entity from the research and innovation system and an entity overseen by the Ministério da Defesa Nacional.
