Slovak Language and Culture Summer School 2026

The Slovak Language and Culture Summer School 2026 is an in-person summer programme in Bratislava combining Slovak language courses, lectures on traditions, excursions and cultural activities. It is intended for students seeking to acquire or improve Slovak language skills and to deepen knowledge of Slovak linguistics, literature, history and culture. The course runs from 2026-07-27 to 2026-08-14 and is organised/implemented by Comenius University (Bratislava).

Accommodation, meals, cultural programme and course fee (covered for one Lithuanian participant by the Slovak Ministry of Education).

Students of Lithuanian higher education institutions from all study cycles; applicants must be Lithuanian citizens or citizens of EU member states or EFTA states working or with the right to permanent residence in Lithuania, and their family members; other foreign citizens and stateless persons with the right of permanent residence in Lithuania may also apply.

Submit an application in Lithuanian via the Švietimo mainų paramos fondo electronic application system (https://sistema.smpf.lt/) with required documents and an institutional student certificate; register in the system, create an application, choose project 'Kitų valstybių skiriamos stipendijos' and the call 'Slovakų kalbos ir kultūros kursų vasaros mokykla 2026 m.'
