ACET 2027 Young Leaders in Research (YLR) Grant

The ACET 2027 Young Leaders in Research (YLR) Grant is a 12-month funded programme for early-career African researchers in economics or related analytical fields. It supports policy-relevant, context-driven research on Africa’s transformation agenda, providing funding, mentorship, visibility, and professional development to elevate the research and influence policymaking on the continent.

Funding for research activities, mentorship, increased visibility, and professional development support.

Early-career researchers aged 35 or younger as of January 1, 2027, who are African nationals or residents based in Africa, with a master’s degree or higher in economics or a related analytical field.
