The Royal Society Africa Prize 2026 recognizes research scientists based in Africa who are making an innovative contribution to the sciences. The prize provides a grant to support a research project and includes a personal prize, with a prize lecture attached to the award.

Leistungen

£15,000 research grant, £2,000 personal prize, prize lecture

Teilnahmevoraussetzungen

Open to African citizens who are senior in their research career and able to develop a follow-on research project after the prize.

Bewerbung

Nominations must be submitted by a nominator through the Royal Society Awards system; nominators provide details for the nominee and the nomination is completed by the nominee after notification.
