Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Edinburgh

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Edinburgh offers fully funded postgraduate scholarships for exceptional African students to study either on-campus Master’s programmes or online Master’s and Postgraduate Diploma programmes for the 2027/28 academic year. The programme supports leadership and climate justice goals, with funding covering tuition and additional support based on study mode. It includes a Climate Leadership Programme and other scholarship benefits for selected scholars.

Full approved tuition, accommodation, travel, living cost stipend, study materials, and access to additional leadership and climate-focused programmes.

Citizens/residents or refugees from an African country, applying for postgraduate study; applicants must be 35 or under and have demonstrated leadership and resilience in pursuing education.
