Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program

The Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program is a fully funded five-month fellowship based in Washington, DC, for practitioners and researchers from developing democracies, transitioning countries, and authoritarian regimes. Fellows work on independent projects, share international experience, and build professional connections with leading US think tanks, NGOs, and academic circles.

Monthly stipend, housing and living expenses in Washington, DC, medical insurance, workspace, and round-trip international travel.

Applicants should have practical or academic experience in democracy, human rights, media, or civil society, strong English language skills, and a concrete project proposal to carry out in Washington, DC.
