A paid staff position within the ATLAS Muon project at CERN responsible for coordinating integration and installation activities during Long Shutdown 3 (LS3). The role manages scheduling, interfaces and technical coordination across Muon sub-projects, liaises with ATLAS Technical Coordination and oversees activities at the UX15 cavern and P1. The post-holder will prepare documentation, chair coordination meetings and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of Muon upgrade and maintenance work.
Leistungen
Monthly salary (minimum net entry-salary 9,236 CHF), 30 days paid leave plus 2 weeks closure, health insurance for employee, spouse and children, CERN Pension Fund membership, family/child allowances, relocation package (installation grant, removal, travel expenses) depending on circumstances; possibility to extend contract up to 8 years and eligibility for indefinite contract tenure.
Teilnahmevoraussetzungen
Applicants must be nationals of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State (with specific exclusions listed on the vacancy). Candidates require relevant qualifications and professional experience; a PhD or equivalent relevant experience in Physics or a related field is required. Applicants who previously held a CERN Staff contract are not eligible.
