The Center for Empirical Research in Economics and Behavioral Sciences (CEREB) at the University of Erfurt invites applications from outstanding prospective doctoral researchers for PhD scholarships starting in 2027. The scholarships are funded through the Thuringian State Graduate Support Programme to support excellent doctoral projects within the University of Erfurt’s structured doctoral environment. Successful applicants may align their doctoral project with CEREB’s interdisciplinary research areas, including behavioral economics, social psychology, health psychology, organizational psychology, corporate ethics and related empirical disciplines.
Leistungen
Monthly stipend of €1,400; potential family allowance (€300 for the first dependent child, €150 for each additional child); possible research-related expenses support up to €600 per funding year.

Outstanding doctoral researchers whose projects align with CEREB’s research areas; applicants must pursue doctoral research within the University’s structured Erfurt Doctoral and Postdoctoral Programme.
