Roma Calling Swiss Institute Residency Program 2026

The Roma Calling Swiss Institute Residency Program is a residency competition for emerging artists and researchers working on topics connected to the future of art, science, and innovation. It is one of several residencies organised by the Swiss Institute and takes place in Rome. Eligible profiles include artists across disciplines (visual arts, design, architecture, film, literature, dance, theater, music, etc.) with professional experience or completed training, as well as doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, or related fields. The programme provides a residency period in Rome.

Open to Swiss citizens and individuals with permanent residence in Switzerland who regularly participate in artistic activities in Switzerland or are affiliated with Swiss higher education institutions. Eligible profiles include professional or trained artists and doctoral/postdoctoral researchers.
