UCL Financial Economics Scholarship

The UCL Financial Economics Scholarship supports the joint Financial Economics MRes + MPhil/PhD programme run by the Department of Economics and the UCL School of Management. It comprises a one-year MRes followed by progression to MPhil/PhD study and provides rigorous quantitative training in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and finance. The programme is delivered at UCL locations in London (Bloomsbury and Canary Wharf) with multiple start dates.

Specialist education and research training in financial economics; access to UCL finance and research seminars, reading groups and brown-bag sessions; opportunity to attend academic conferences with costs covered.

Applicants must hold a distinction in a Master's degree in economics or a closely related subject (or an equivalent overseas qualification) and demonstrate high analytical and quantitative skills; submission of GRE quantitative results is encouraged but not compulsory. English language Level 2 is required.
