IKY-EYDAP Scholarships for PhD Candidates 2024-2025

The IKY‑EYDAP Scholarships are a programme awarding two four‑year doctoral scholarships funded by EYDAP for PhD candidates at Greek higher education institutions for the academic year 2024–2025. Each scholarship provides a monthly stipend to support doctoral research in topics related to water supply, sanitation, water treatment and related engineering, environmental and scientific specialisations. The scholarships target candidates whose doctoral supervisory committee was appointed after 2023 and who do not already hold a doctoral degree.

Monthly stipend of €1,000 for up to four years; two scholarship positions available.

Eligible applicants are PhD candidates at Greek universities who have a Greek Tax Identification Number (AFM), whose three‑member supervisory committee was appointed after 01/01/2023, and who do not already hold a doctoral degree. Applicants must also have fulfilled any prior obligations if they previously received an IKY scholarship.
