Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship

The Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship is a college scholarship for U.S.-based high school seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related computer science fields. Recipients may receive up to $40,000 in college funding disbursed as $10,000 per year for up to four years. The scholarship also includes a paid summer internship at Amazon following the freshman year, access to industry mentors, and professional development opportunities. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet academic and work-authorization requirements.

Must be a U.S. high school senior enrolled in or having completed a high school or college dual degree course with computer science as the subject (or complete an Amazon assessment); authorized to work in the U.S.; demonstrate financial need; planning to attain a bachelor’s degree in a computer science-related field; and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).

Complete an online application on the Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship page, provide academic records and proof of computer science course enrollment, submit documentation of financial need and work-authorization, and complete essay or short-answer questions.
