SSHRC Storytellers Challenge 2025

The SSHRC Storytellers Challenge invites postsecondary students to create a short video, audio clip, text, or infographic (up to 3 minutes or 300 words) showing how SSHRC-funded social sciences and humanities research is affecting lives and the future. Winners receive cash prizes and opportunities to participate in a showcase and related events. Submissions are judged in two phases, with final winners featured and potentially contributing to SSHRC marketing content.

Cash prizes for Phase 1 and Phase 2 winners; opportunity to have submissions used as marketing content; participation in a research-communications workshop.

Open to residents of Canada who are students enrolled at a Canadian postsecondary institution and are nineteen years of age or older.
