DEPP Youth Advisory Council 2024

The DEPP Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a ten-month placement for young leaders to inform and strengthen youth inclusion in democracy and governance programming run by CEPPS. Members work to revise youth inclusion strategies, help design indicators, and develop learning resources to increase youth participation in political and civic life. The program provides opportunities to develop professional skills through research, strategic planning and networking while contributing to DRG programming globally.

Members contribute to CEPPS programming and develop professional skills in research, strategic planning and networking, with opportunities to contribute to learning events and resources.

Open to young people aged 18-30 who are nationals from Africa, Asia, Europe/Eurasia, Latin America/Caribbean, or the Middle East/North Africa and who are passionate about DRG issues in their communities.
