Funded Cultural Exchange Opportunity in Finland 2027 for Palestinian Artists with a €3,600 Grant

The Helsinki International Artist Programme (HIAP), in collaboration with the Sumud Foundation, offers a funded international cultural exchange and residency opportunity for 2027, specifically for Palestinian artists living in Palestine or in the diaspora. The residency takes place in Helsinki, Finland, for 90 days, from April 12 to July 11, 2027, and includes a €3,600 grant, free live-work studio space, and travel cost coverage, among other support services.

A €3,600 grant, free 90-day studio accommodation, round-trip travel costs, a 63-square-meter studio, visa support with related costs covered, access to HIAP facilities, participation in artistic gatherings and events, and potential for a future exhibition proposal.

Applicants must be professional Palestinian artists residing either in Palestine or in the diaspora.

Applications must be submitted in English and may be submitted individually or as a group; portfolios of previous work are required.
