UM Brightlands Talent Scholarship

The UM Brightlands Talent Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for selected international master's students at Maastricht University linked to the Brightlands innovation campuses. It supports master's programmes in fields including chemistry and materials, health, agrifood, data science and smart digital services. The scholarship covers tuition and a package of living cost allowances and other benefits. Applicants must apply for admission to a participating UM master's programme and meet the programme's admission requirements.

Tuition fee coverage; living expenses allowance (€15,925) and additional monthly/specified allowances for housing, groceries, telephone, travel, books and other personal expenses.

Applicants must be non-EU/EEA/Switzerland nationals, meet the requirements for an MVV visa and residence permit for the Netherlands (or hold a Schengen residence permit valid until at least 2 September 2026), be no older than 35 on 1 September 2027, apply for admission to a participating UM master's programme for the 2026-2027 academic year, and meet the specific admission requirements of the chosen master's programme.
