Conferences, Symposia and Workshops (CSW) programme

The Conferences, Symposia and Workshops (CSW) programme provides grants to support 1–3 day events that enable established and early career researchers and practitioners to present and discuss recent research and innovation. Grants support events to be held within Denmark, the Faroe Islands or Greenland and executed in the timeframe January 2027–June 2028. Individual grants range between DKK 50,000 and DKK 500,000, with up to DKK 9 million available per year.

Project grant funding for event costs (DKK 50,000–500,000 per grant); overall programme budget up to DKK 9 million per year.

The main applicant must be employed at a university, a non-profit research institution (e.g., a hospital or museum), or a non-profit professional association translating research, based within Denmark, the Faroe Islands, or Greenland; the applicant must be a specific person who is the lead organiser. Events must be within research fields supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation and completed within 18 months of grant notification.
