Elisabeth Lutz-Preis

The Elisabeth Lutz-Preis is an annual research prize for fundamental and application-oriented research in the bio- and life sciences, rewarding new insights or innovative approaches relevant to therapeutic development. It is intended for researchers up to eight years after their doctorate who have shown outstanding performance. The prize amount is EUR 15,000 and is split between the researcher, the research institute and the host institution. The winner is selected by an international peer-review committee appointed by the Austrian Academy of Sciences.

Monetary prize of EUR 15,000 divided equally between the awardee, the research institution and the host institution.

Researchers up to a maximum of eight years after completion of their doctorate who are employed at an Austrian university or at an extramural research institution in Austria. Only self-applications are accepted.

Submit application via the online form and upload four PDF files (application letter, CV with publications, statement of contribution to selected publications, institute head statement); after submission print, sign and return the emailed PDF scan as a reply to the confirmation email.
