Wallenberg Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowships at Nanyang Technological University

The Wallenberg Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowships place outstanding young Swedish scientists at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, for two years of postdoctoral research and study. Fellows are employed by NTU and participate in interdisciplinary activities and programmes at NTU. The Foundation supports fellows upon their return to Sweden and may fund a research position in Sweden for up to two years if needed. The fellowship includes salary, allowances, research funds and standard NTU health insurance.

Annual base salary (from SGD 70,000), family/cost-of-living allowance (from SGD 30,000), annual research allowance (SGD 5,000 per year), NTU standard health insurance, potential return funding to support a research position in Sweden.

At the start of the postdoc period applicants must have a doctoral degree from a Swedish university no older than two years after the dissertation date and have a connection to a Swedish university or corresponding non-profit research organisation. Applicants must submit a research proposal, invitation letter from an NTU host, two letters of recommendation and other required appendices. The applicant cannot be employed at the intended NTU host prior to the Wallenberg post-doc and the stipend cannot be combined with other stipends or positions.
