Stiftungschor

The Stiftungschor is a community concert choir run by the Stiftung Polytechnische Gesellschaft that performs ambitious multi-part arrangements of pop, musical, jazz and film music on Frankfurt stages. The choir rehearses weekly, gives an annual concert and accepts new singers at the start of each year following a trial period and a short audition. Membership involves regular rehearsals, occasional workshops and performance opportunities at city venues and public events.

Music-enthusiastic and motivated singers; choral experience is desirable but not required. Applicants should have a secure singing voice and the ability to learn arrangements independently; regular rehearsal attendance is expected.

Join several initial rehearsals at the start of the year as a trial participant; if wishing to continue, perform a short audition with vocal exercises, a short melody and parts from songs rehearsed during the trial.
