CIFAR Neuroscience of Consciousness Winter School

The CIFAR Neuroscience of Consciousness Winter School is a three-day event where early-career neuroscience researchers work closely with world-class investigators studying the neuroscience of consciousness. The school includes interactive lectures, immersive workshops on grant proposal development and collaborative science, and opportunities to network with peers and established scientists. The 2026 edition will be held in Nairobi, Kenya from December 3 to 5, 2026.

Applicants must be senior PhD students (approaching or having achieved advancement to candidacy/upgrade) or post-docs. Applicants are required to submit a CV and a 500-word discussion of their research explaining how the school would benefit their future scientific careers.
