Academic Language Grants (Ulpan and Yiddish Study Scholarships)

The Academic Language Grants are scholarships for intensive Hebrew and Yiddish language study in Israel for students and early career scholars in European Jewish Studies. The Foundation funds Ulpan Scholarships for intensive Hebrew courses, administered through the World Union of Jewish Studies. Scholarships for intensive Yiddish study are available via the Naomi Prawer Kadar International Yiddish Summer Programme at Tel Aviv University. The Foundation also lists related fellowships, conference funding and small research grants in this area.
